As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, the West Cumberland Choral Society invite you to their Christmas carol concert this Friday in St Andrew’s Church, Mirehouse.
The seasonal programme will begin at 7pm with a rousing congregational carol under the baton of Dorothy Edger, accompanied by Frank Bowler and featuring guest players Sethera Brass.
Whether you’re coming in from the Bleak Midwinter or a Winter Wonderland, there will be many Christmas crackers to enjoy!
From Bethlehem Down, Sir Christemas will lead you with the First Nowell by Candlelight to the Nativity on Holy Night, in the company of Angels from the Realms of Glory. There will be a Christmas Lullaby, hornpipes, Merry Gentlemen, drummers, French hens, leaping lords and dancing ladies, taking you right through to New Year!
So Come All Ye Faithful and join in, with festive mince pies and refreshments afterwards. Tickets £7.50 (students £3, U18s free) available on the door or contact (01946) 825255.
