The star of a new business has been named in a competition.

When You Believe is working with Rum Story over the festive season to provide a unicorn to help santa deliver presents this year.

At the Whitehaven lights switch on children had a chance to enter a competition to name the unicorn and the name Starlight was chosen by Sienna Amor.

Stacey Gribbin, from 'When You Believe' said: "The Grottos are going really well and it's lovely to see all the children so excited. We have also had some reserved slots at the grottos for children and adults with additional needs which has proved very popular."

Tickets are still available for a further three grotto's at Rum Story on December 7, 14, and 21.

They will be making private visits on December 15, where Santa and the magical unicorn will be out and about to surprise some lucky children with a magical meet and greet - more info can be found on When You Believe Facebook and Instagram page.

Jorgie Thompson, five, from Workington was one of the children to meet Starlight after being bought the ticket for a birthday present. She went to the grotto straight after her birthday party. Her mum, Emma Birkett, said: "Jorgie was very excited to meet the unicorn and had a fantastic time.

"She was telling us all about it, she also liked that Santa had a Cumbrian accent and said he sounded like her grandad."
