COPELAND Council is urging business owners to become ambassadors for its Pride of Place campaign.
The council is keen to support the borough’s community-focused businesses – and their workforce – by highlighting the good work that they carry out via the campaign.
Mike Starkie, Mayor of Copeland, said: “We know that a number of firms that operate in the borough take enormous pride in their appearance; whether that is ensuring their building is kept to a high standard and the outside of their premises is always kept free of litter and weeds etc.
“Some also go above and beyond, by encouraging their staff to take part in wider litter-picks in their local area.
“We’d love to hear from anyone who would like to become an official Pride of Place ambassador, and so we can work together to continue making Copeland a great place to work, live and visit.”
