Police have charged a teenager with drink driving after a crash on the A686.
At about 8.30pm on Thursday, November 21, officers were called to a report of a one-car crash at Melmerby.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: “A 26-year-old man from Penrith was reported for driving without insurance.
“Emma Johnson, 19, of Harwood, Barnard Castle, County Durham was charged with drink-driving and will attend Carlisle’s magistrates’ court on December 10.”
