A Whitehaven man has been fined after resisting a police officer.
Ian O'Fee, 44, of Brakeside Gardens, appeared before Workington magistrates on Wednesday.
He pleaded guilty to resisting PC Jackson on October 27 in Whitehaven and also to a further charge of possessing a quantity of diamorphine on the same date.
O'Fee was fined £80 and handed a six month conditional discharge. He must also pay £85 costs and a £21 victim surcharge.
