West Cumbria Magistrates' Court
A man who stole nail clippers worth £5 has been handed a £355 court bill.
Alan Drinkwater, 27, of Frizington, admitted stealing the clippers from Michael Campbell when he appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington on Friday.
Drinkwater, of Mill Street, was fined £80. He was also ordered to pay £160 in compensation, a £30 victim surcharge fee and £85 court costs.
