Billy Watson's lonning, Ticklebelly Alley and Parson's Passage are just three of the curiously-named local footpaths set to come under discussion.
Local author Alan Cleaver and Lesley Park will be talking about them on Thursday evening.
Their illustrated talk at Lamplugh Village Hall at 7.30pm will offer a virtual tour of Cumbria's lonnings, trods and meanderings, revealing the history behind them and tell of the legends that are associated with them.
Admission is £3 with refreshments.
