A 28-YEAR-OLD Carlisle man has admitted making more than 750 indecent images of a child.
Alexander Ross Crawford appeared before Carlisle's magistrates' court yesterday. Crawford faced one charge of making 266 category A indecent images of a child - the most serious category - between February 11 last year and March 3 this year.
He faced a charge of possessing a prohibited image of a child on or before March 3 this year.
A third charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image, which showed a person performing an extreme act with a dog.
Crawford, of Brampton Road, was also accused of making 282 category C images of a child between February 11 last year and March 3 this year.
The final charge related to making 215 category B indecent photographs of a child.
"Making" can refer to opening attachments to emails and downloading or saving images to a cloud.
He admitted all charges at Carlisle's magistrates' court yesterday. He faces sentence at Carlisle Crown Court on November 22.
