THEFTS: Police have urged Whitehaven residents to remain vigilant
RESIDENTS in Whitehaven are being urged to stay vigilant after a spate of burglaries.
Police say the thefts happened overnight in the Edgehill Park and William Howe area of Whitehaven, at about 4am this morning (Sunday).
No further details about the burglaries have been released by police.
A spokesman from Cumbria Police said: "We are asking residents to be vigilant and if possess any CCTV footage, please contact PC 7 Jones on 101, quoting log 60."
