Brides donned their wedding finery for a second time to raise cash for charity.
Rachael McGlennon from Blush Bridal in Whitehaven organised a Brides’ Ball in the town’s Westminster Cafe, which raised £620 for Children with Cancer UK
Brides, bridesmaids, and mother-of-the-bride outfits were all on display at the event.
The ball was the last event in a fundraising campaign by four runners Rachael McGlennon, Spencer McGlennon, Kevin Lamb and Angela Parry, from Parton, who ran the London Marathon in April, for the same charity, collectively raising £8,200.
