Police hunt gang of youths who verbally assaulted pensioner
POLICE are hunting a gang of youths who verbally abused a pensioner in Egremont.
Officers are investigating the public order offence that happened on Lamb Lame, around 6pm on Saturday.
A police spokesman said a 65-year-old was verbally abused by a number of youths.
Police are looking to identify a 15-years-old male wearing a black jacket with yellow on the top half as part of their investigation.
Anyone with information should call Whitehaven Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 11, quoting log number 176 of October 12.
