Delighted children had the chance to grill Copeland MP Trudy Harrison.
With no topic off limitsn the children let rip asking questions about everything from Brexit to Strictly Come Dancing.
The pupils had been learning all about politics and London even having a debate themselves.
Trudy Harrison arrived at Distington Community School where the Year 4 children have been learning about London and the Houses of Parliament.
Steven Bragg, class teacher, said: “The visit of MP Mrs Harrison is something that the children had been looking forward to. They were very enthusiastic, sharing what they have learnt about London and politics. They particularly enjoyed having the opportunity to ask Mrs Harrison some of their own questions. This experience has been great for our children to be involved in. Thank you once again to Mrs Harrison.”
