The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in Cumbria - with "flooding of a few homes and businesses likely".
The warning will be in place from 12.15am tomorrow until 8pm.
Bus and train services are expected to be affected, with delays to journey times.
Spray and flooding on roads is likely to make journey times longer.
There may be some interruption to power supplies due to lightning.
The warning states: "Although some places will stay dry, heavy rain may cause some localised flooding and travel disruption."
