Police responding to an accident on Blackwood Road.
A Lillyhall road has reopened after a two car crash caused tailbacks this morning.
Two police vans and an ambulance attended the collision on Blackwood Road at 8.15am.
The crash involved a red Seat and a Blue Toyota, a representative for Cumbria police said: "One passenger is believed to have suffered minor injuries. An ambulance attended the scene. The road is now open"
The section of Blackwood road is south of Lillyhall Roundabout, on the industrial estate near to Energus and Energy Coast UTC.
