Three 19-year-olds had to be rescued from Carlisle Castle
Three teenagers had to be rescued from Carlisle Castle.
The men, aged 19, found themselves locked inside the city landmark and called police at about 10.30pm yesterday for help.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said: "Police received a report of three 19-year-old men - not local - locked in the grounds of Carlisle Castle.
"Fire attended the scene. The men were let out.
No one was hurt during the incident."
