THERE was strong competition at Richmond Leek Show.
The event took place at Whitehaven Golf Club and was judged by Mr P Scott .
It was sponsored by Hensingham Chippy, Bewshers and the golf club, which also provided the room.
Winner of the best pair of leeks was John Mossop who also took the best leek in show trophy, best intermediate leek and best dressed onion with the trophies presented by Ronnie Blinco from the leek show committee.
