A fun-filled festival in Egremont has raised money for Calderwood House homeless hostel.
The third annual Calderfest took place at Egremont Castle on Saturday, with live music, food, sumo-wrestling, a bouncy obstacle course, gladiator podium, a treasure hunt and over 20 food and craft stalls.
The event raised a total of £2,215.
Calderwood House director Rachel Holliday said: “It was absolutely brilliant. The weather held out all day. The community of Egremont came out in force.
“It was wonderful to see all the children playing on the inflatables and to see all the parents having a great time. It’s certainly worth it all at the end of the day and funding Calderwood House makes it all worthwhile.”
Organiser Carla Munkley, a support worker at Calderwood House, said: “Egremont has always been a great supporter of Calderwood, so it’s great to be able to give something back while raising funds to help support some of the most vulnerable in our community.”
