Exhibitors still turned out in force for the annual Seascale Horticultural Show despite the poor weather.
The show, at the Windscale Club on Saturday, saw plenty of visitors, and a good display of flowers and vegetables, despite the weather taking its toll on the roses.
Neil Todd was commended for his wide selection of flowers, vegetables and pot plants exhibited. This was reflected in the number of trophies he won.
Entries in the children’s section were up on last year, thanks to entries from children’s groups in the village, as well as from Seascale School.
Thanks went to all who exhibited and to show manager, Graham Anderson and his team of helpers.
