The Egremont branch of the Royal British Legion has a new standard.
To mark its 75th anniversary, the name is now being changed to Egremont and District, due to many local branches closing meaning the area now covers from Moor Row down to the Holmrook.
Officials recently travelled to Wainfleet in Lincolnshire to collect the standard.
On Saturday, September 14, there will be a parade, hanging up, and dedication of the new standard in Egremont parish church.
The parade will start outside the Conservative Club and march to St Marys & St Micheal's Church at 4.30pm, followed by a church service. The march will then return to the veterans' club for refreshments and entertainment.
Copeland mayor Mike Starkie will be guest of honour.
