Firefighters spent over two hours battling a blaze at a hotel in west Cumbria.
It happened at the Grove Court Hotel, Cleator, at about 5.30pm yesterday.
Two fire engines, from Whitehaven and Egremont, rushed to the scene.
A gas range cooker had caught fire in the hotel kitchen.
Firefighters wearing breathing equipment used two hose reel jets and two thermal imaging cameras to tackle the blaze.
They were at the scene for over two hours.
