A man has been jailed for 30 months for an assault on a child.
A court heard Christopher Bould, 32, inflicted multiple injuries on the youngster, including a perforated ear drum and bruising on the face and neck.
Bould, of Buxton House, Huddersfield was sentenced today at Carlisle Crown Court for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
It happened in a property in Ambleside.
