Firefighters responded this afternoon to a two-car crash on a Carlisle road.
Crews from both Carlisle east and west fire stations attended the scene of a crash on Eastern Way at about 12pm.
A spokesman for Carlisle east fire station said: "There was nobody trapped in the vehicles, but crews made the scene safe by disconnecting the batteries using small tools."
Cumbria Police have been contacted to determine whether anyone was injured in the incident.
