A DRIVER has lost his licence after he was caught driving without insurance and under the influence of drugs.
William Procter, from Thwaite How, Rusland, admitted at South Cumbria Magistrates Court in Barrow to driving without insurance and while over the prescribed limit for cocaine on June 19.
The court was told at approximately 1.45am on New Year’s Eve an officer stopped a Mini Cooper on Millan Park, Ambleside, when he observed it failing to comply with a give way controlled junction
The 31-year-old was given a 12 month driving disqualification and fined £859.
