A Whitehaven man was sent to jail after he persistently breached court orders.
Paul Joseph Carr, 27, of Devon Road in Hensigham, was jailed for 140 days for a string of offences.
Magistrates sitting at the Workington court on Monday heard Carr caused £150-worth of damage to a VW Transporter on June 6 and on the same day entered the West Cumberland hospital, which he was banned from, without reasonable excuse.
Magistrates heard that in April, Carr had also destroyed two glass panes belonging to Tom Milburn, worth £150. And on May 1 he destroyed a window belonging to the same victim, worth £150.
Carr was jailed for these offences because of his record of similar crimes and breaches of court orders. He was also ordered to pay compensation and a £115.00 victim surcharge.
