Police are appealing for witnesses after a confrontation in north Carlisle
Police are investigating following reports of a confrontation involving three men in Carlisle.
It is believed one of the men was assaulted.
Two have been arrested, but police are appealing for witnesses.
It happened at Dukes Drive in Kingmoor Park, in the north of the city, at about 2.15pm yesterday.
Police say the men all left this area in a blue Ford Fiesta.
Two men, both aged 22 and from Carlisle, were arrested on suspicion of offences including assault.
They remain in custody today.
The man reported to be assaulted was not injured.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the incident to contact officers on 101, referring to log 117 of June 12.
