West Cumbria Magistrates' Court, Workington
A thief has been fined for stealing alcohol from a supermarket.
John Edward Goodwin, 41, of Church Street, Whitehaven, pleaded guilty at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court on Friday to stealing a bottle of vodka from the town's Asda store on December 1.
He was fined £45 and ordered to pay £16 compensation, a £30 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
