A walker was airlifted to hospital after falling from a Lake District crag.
It happened in Penny Hill, Eskdale, just before 9pm last night.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team were called out to help.
The walker sustained a broken leg and pelvic injuries.
The North West Ambulance Service also attended,
Mountain rescue volunteers helped paramedics with the casualty.
They then moved them down the slope to meet a waiting Coastguard helicopter, which had been scrambled from Prestwick.
