A man has been jailed after stealing garden power tools in Whitehaven.
Daniel James Bullock, 28, of no fixed address, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington.
Magistrates heard that, on April 27 this year, Bullock burgled a cellar at Standings Rise, Whitehaven, and stole a hedge trimmer and a strimmer.
He denied the offence but was found guilty after a trial.
Bullock was jailed for 70 days.
He was also ordered to pay £620 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and £150 compensation.
