A man who was caught driving at 46mph in a 30mph limit in a West Cumbrian village has found himself in court.
Ryan Taylor, 42, of Woodlands Avenue, Whitehaven, appeared before District Judge Gerald Chalk at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington.
The court heard that Taylor was caught at more than 50 per cent above the speed limit in Pica on September 26 last year.
He pleaded guilty to the offence and was fined £100, £85 costs and a £30 surcharge.
