A woman has appeared in court after being caught with a controlled drug.
Anne Marie Horricks, 52, whose address was given as c/o Main Street, Frizington, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Workington to face a single charge.
The court heard that, on Wednesday, April 24, she was caught in Whitehaven with a quantity of class-A drug diamorphine.
She pleaded guilty to the offence.
District Judge Gerald Chalk ordered Horricks to pay a fine of £115 along with £85 court costs and a £30 surcharge.
