A BUSY West Cumbrian road has been hit by delays due to roadworks.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time when travelling on the A596 due to roadworks between the A596 at Lillyhall, Workington, and Branthwaite Road.
The junction is in the process of being resurfaced and temporary traffic lights are operating on a three-way system.
