Copeland Council is reminding residents that waste and recycling collections will be one day later than normal next week.
On Good Friday (April 19), all collections continue as normal, so residents should put out their bins, bags or boxes as normal that day.
On Easter Monday (April 22) there will be no collections, and all collections that week will be one day later than normal. Copeland's teams will be working on Saturday, April 27, when Friday's collections will be made.
Copeland's community recycling sites will remain open during the holidays, and residents can see their collection calendars at www.copeland.gov.uk, by clicking 'my bin collections' in the 'my property' section.
Residents' calendars show the correct (one day later) collection day, taking the bank holiday into account.
