The Cumberland FA has a new sponsor.

Cumbrian Cottages, part of the, has announced it will sponsor the association for the next two years, as part of its commitment to support local communities.

The sponsorship will see Cumbrian Cottages support local clubs, the Cumberland FA's County Cup competitions and provide a kit and equipment voucher to the winner of the Team of the Round award in the 2019-20 season.

"We’re delighted to become sponsors of Cumberland FA to help support the great work they do both for the game and in the local community.

"Players and their families and friends will know us for our holidays, but also many of them are business partners, who let their properties with us, so it’s important for us to be actively involved in local activities that are important to them.”

Cumberland Football Association was established in 1884 to make a difference through football.

It is responsible for governing and developing the local game and strives to positively influence participation for all.

Cumbrian Cottages manages almost 800 properties in the Lake District, and employs 24 people at its offices in Windermere and Keswick.
