A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of driving while under the influence of drugs after a two vehicle crash on the A686.
Cumbria Police said the 38-year-old has since been released under investigation.
The crash, which involved two Ford Transit vans - one with a trailer - occurred just after 5.30am at Carleton in Penrith.
The road was closed in both directions for several hours to allow the vehicles to be removed.
