A MAN wanted for failing to appear in court after being charged with historic child sex offences has been arrested.
Police issued an appeal yesterday to trace Jeffrey Maclagan.
Officers have now confirmed he was arrested by police in Workington yesterday and he appeared at North Cumbria Magistrates’ Court, where he was remanded in custody.
The 64-year-old failed to appear in court in February 2012 after being charged with four counts of gross indecency with a child, which were committed in the 1970s.
