An air ambulance was sent to the scene of a crash on the A66 this morning.
The road was closed near Cockermouth as emergency services dealt with two separate collisions.
Highways England has confirmed the road has now reopened.

A spokesperson for The Great North Air Ambulance Service said: "I can confirm we were called at 8:15am to the Cockermouth area to reports of a road traffic collision.
"A patient was treated at the scene by a doctor and paramedic team before being flown to hospital for further treatment."
A collision involving a Mercedes car and a motorcycle was reported on the road at Brigham at 7.56am.
There were no life threatening injuries reported at the time.
At 8.20am, a second collision - involving a BMW car and a motorcycle - was reported on the A66 at Bridgefoot.
Again, there were no life threatening injuries reported at the time.

Police said they were called by the North West Ambulance Service.
There are no details of injuries at this stage.
Motorists were warned to expect delays. Traffic was diverted via local routes.
Stagecoach also diverted some bus services as a result.
