A man court drink-driving on the A66 has been banned from getting behind the wheel.
Kyle Francis Mason, 21, drove a black Ford Fiesta between Brigham and Cockermouth when he had 47mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcg.
Mason, of Renwick, Penrith, admitted the offence when he appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court in Workington.
He was given a 14-month driving ban and fined £120.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £30 surcharge to fund victim services.
