Failing to turn up for appointments as instructed by a court has landed a Workington man before magistrates. Liam Simpson, 19, of Northumberland Street, appeared at West Cumbria Magistrates Court.
The court heard that Simpson had breached a court order because on January 10 and 17 he had failed to attend appointments as directed.
Simpson pleaded guilty to the offence.
He was ordered to carry out an additional 20 hours of unpaid work.
He must also pay £60 in court costs.
