Dance fans can get back in the groove next month with the return of a Fascino night at the Halston Apart Hotel in Carlisle.

Continuing the mix of classic soul, funk and dance sounds, blended with live vocals and musicians, DJs Matt Phillips and Colin Vickers promise a fully-reworked set list which they say will take the crown "on a musical journey from classic disco right through to the freshest house music."

Colin said: "Myself and Matt agreed from the start that we would try to showcase something different at each event. In that spirit we introduce our guest vocalist Beth Francis.

"She will be singing a selection of tracks live throughout the night, complimenting the DJ sets.

"The evening is a fusion of house and disco music drawing influences from the pioneers of New York and Chicago alongside the freshest new tracks that are yet to break the mainstream.

"Along the way we drop the odd timeless classic that's a firm Carlisle favourite."

Beth will be performing throughout the night and will be accompanied by a live percussionist and saxophonist.

Dance fans can expect tracks such as the classic I'm Every Woman by Chaka Khan, Say the Word by Steve Silk Hurley, Watchin' Out from Dirty Channels & Danny Russell and the massive floor filler I Believe by the Happy Clappers.

Tickets are priced £10 and available through social media sites tagged @fascinonights for direct drop offs, Skiddle or Carlisle's Atelier Hair Couture.
