A Whitehaven man admitted assaulting a police officer.
Thomas Lee O'Fee, 22, of George Street, pleaded guilty in a hearing at the North and West Cumbria magistrates court in Workington.
Magistrates were told that he on December 27, in Whitehaven, he assaulted a female police officer.
He was given a community order including an eight week curfew from 7pm to 7am, ordered to pay an £85 surcharge to fund victim services and £85 costs.
And he admitted a second charge of behaving in a violent manner in the Workington custody police office.
Magistrates were told that he made threats and lashed out.
