A WOMAN has died following a crash on the A66 at Embleton.
Katherine Fereday, 39, died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision on Saturday, December 29.
She died on January 4.
Katherine, of Maryport, was a passenger in the car driven by her dad, Richard Fereday, who also died after the crash.
Three other family members were taken to hospital following the collision. They remain in hospital in a stable condition.
Mr Fereday, 74, was driving a Nissan.
He retired to Maryport in 2007 after a career as a university lecturer in chemistry.
