Cumbrian accountancy firm Lamont Pridmore has kicked off 2019 with a global award win.

The company was named Business Accounting Firm of the Year in England at the Corporate INTL Global Awards.

The prestigious international publication recognised Lamont Pridmore, which has seven offices across Cumbria, including in Carlisle, Penrith, Keswick, Workington, Barrow, Kendal and Whitehaven, based on its work with companies throughout the country.

Judges reviewed Lamont Pridmore’s approach to client care and the delivery of its growing number of services via its seven offices in Cumbria.

Graham Lamont, chief executive of Lamont Pridmore, said: “What a great way to start the year off by gaining such a fantastic title from such a respected international organisation.

“I hope that this initial win is just an indication of greater things to come this year as we continue our expansion across the region and grow our national profile.”

The company will be featured in the global brand's publications and its website, which it says reaches 70,000 people.

In 2018, Lamont Pridmore won awards for its work from organisations in both the UK and around the world, while Graham Lamont was invited to judge some of the country’s most prestigious professional awards based upon his own experience of running an award-winning practice.

Chris Lamont, managing director of Lamont Pridmore’s Carlisle and Penrith offices and a partner at the firm, added: “Our success at various awards has played a critical role in our success as a firm, but none of it would be possible without the commitment and hard work of our team or our unique approach to providing accountancy services and more.”
