Over a thousand local rugby league fans packed the Derwent Park terraces as Workington Town beat Whitehaven to lift the Ike Southward Memorial Trophy on Sunday.

Check out our slideshow of faces in the crowd, along with action pictures from the derby clash, where Workington triumphed 24-6 to regain the trophy, played for in memory of the late, great Ike Southward.

The hosts outscored the visitors four tries to one, with new signing Ryan Fieldhouse bagging a brace, one coming after just 46 seconds, plus one apiece for Tyllar Mellor and Carl Forber, who also converted all four.

Haven's lone try came courtesy of Sam Dowsett, with Jordan Burns tagging on the extras.
