THE A7 has reopened in both directions following a crash involving a Carlisle-bound bus and a lorry at Langholm.
A dozen passengers on the X95 bus service have been injured in the crash, which happened at about 12 noon on the High Mill Bridge just north of Langholm.
The road was closed for several hours while recovery work took place.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "A number of passengers on the bus have been transported by ambulance to either the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle or Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary in Dumfries, with what are described as cuts and bruises.
"It is believe that there were about 12 passengers on the bus."
Engineers also inspected the bridge ahead of the road re-opening.
