SERVICES to remember loved ones will be held across Allerdale and Copeland this month.

Hospice At Home West Cumbria is holding services for people of all faiths and beliefs to come together and celebrate the lives of their friends and family.

The services will be held on November 25 at 3pm at All Saints Church, Cockermouth, St Mary’s Church, Cleator, St George's Church, Millom, and a humanist-style ceremony will also be held at The Helena Thompson Museum, Workington.

A spokesman for the charity said: "Hospice at Home West Cumbria’s Light up a Life appeal provides an opportunity to remember and celebrate the lives of loved ones who are no longer with us, but are always in our thoughts. People from all faiths and beliefs are invited to remember a loved one, or to honour a friend, relative or colleague. Light up a Life is for everyone, not just those touched by hospice care."

This year the charity has introduced and online Book of Lights. It enables people to remember someone special by uploading their dedication and any photographs and messages for their loved ones. The Book of Lights is available at www.hospiceathomewestcumbria.org.uk.

Dedication cards are available from all Hospice shops in Workington, Whitehaven and Cockermouth or by calling the fundraising team on 01900 873173.
