Police are investigating a crash that saw a motorcyclist being airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The crash was reported to officers shortly before 1pm yesterday (NOV 6), between Cockermouth and Keswick.
A west Cumbrian man, 48, who was riding the motorcycle was airlifted to hospital a Preston hospital with serious injuries.
The other vehicle involved in the crash was a Vauxhall Astra, which was driven by a 24-year-old woman, who was also from the west of the county.
The driver of the Astra did not suffer serious injuries.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact officers on 101, referencing incident 119 of November 6.
