A STRETCH of the A596 at Aspatria has re-opened following the completion of emergency repairs.
On Saturday, Heathfield Railway Bridge was damaged after a car crashed into the wall.
The incident closed the road in both directions until Tuesday afternoon to allow the structure to be inspected, and a new barrier system to be installed.
The road reopened at 3pm, and a temporary 40mph speed limit is in place.
