Trains between Workington and Whitehaven have been temporarily cancelled due to a landslip.
It is expected that trains will be cancelled until at least 10pm today, with replacement bus services being requested.
At this moment there is no firm estimate about when trains services will resume service.
Disruption on the line began shortly before 10.30am this morning.
