THE firm behind plans for a new nuclear power station, Moorside, on land next to Sellafield, has announced a series of public drop-in events.
NuGen will invite the public to comment on its proposals between 10am and 4pm at:
- May 14 – Moorside Information Centre, Whitehaven
- May 17 – Market Hall, Egremont
- May 18 – Whitelaw Building, St Bees
- May 19 – Reading Rooms, Beckermet
- May 23 – Methodist Church Hall, Seascale
- May 24 – Village Hall, Gosforth
- May 25 – Civic and Masonic Centre, Cleator Moor
- May 31 – Skiddaw Hotel, Keswick
- June 1 – Muncaster Parish Hall, Ravenglass
- June 2 – Tarnside Caravan Park, Braystones
- June 7 – Community Centre, Mirehouse
- June 8 – Westlakes Science Park
- June 9 – Community Centre, Distington
- June 14 – Community Centre, Askam-in-Furness
- June 15 – The Forum, Barrow-in- Furness
- June 16 – Victory Hall, Broughton-in-Furness
- June 21 – Town Hall, Cockermouth
- June 22 – St Mark’s Methodist Church, Maryport
