The Derwent Railway Society is hosting the screening of a rare film to mark the 50th anniversary of the closure of the western end of the Workington, Cockermouth, Keswick and Penrith railway – affectionately known as the CKP.

The film, bequeathed to the society by its producer, the late Phoebe Wallace, will be shown at its base on Phoenix Court, Cleator Moor, on Tuesday, November 22 at 7pm.
